four cylinder fun weekend - September 14

In addition to the 4-Cylinder Nationals event taking place on September 14, Claremont Speedway is proud to present two additional four cylinder events which have been added to the race card that evening.

RED NECK ENDURO
$ 20 registration fee in addition to pit admission fee
$ 500 to the winner - Top five positions receive a payout
25 Laps (20 cars) | 35 Laps (21-49 cars) | 50 Laps (50+ cars)
100% of registration fee goes to purse

No modifications to motor
No bracing of bumpers
No antifreeze
No moving of battery or fuel tank
Windshields are allowed.
All glass and trim must be removed off Claremont Speedway property
Doors must be chained or welded shut
Hood latches must be removed and hood pins or chains installed to hold it down
A simple 4-point cage or bracing behind the driver's seat is allowed and recommended
Driver's door mush retain all structure - no gutting
All cars must have factory seat belts or 4-point harness
Driver must have helmet with shield or safety glasses
Camber of 1" on RF rim bottom to top of rim
Camber of 1/2" on LF, LR, RR
Sail fin with number recommended for scoring
4-cylinder 2-wheel driver cars only. No pickups
Must pay pit admission plus registration fee.

Race Procedures:

Line up by draw, 3-wide, standing start
Red flags only
Black flag for cars damaging the track
During a red flag, all disabled cars will be towed to the infield
Driver may go to the pits under red flag and restart where originally stopped
Top 5 will be teched for bracing and motor modifications.
$ 750 claimer rule

FOUR CYLINDER RADAR RUN
See how fast your car "really" is!

Any 4-cylinder vehicle
Must have helmet and factory seat belt or racing harness
Must pay pit admission as entry fee ($ 35)
Car must be legally registered, inspected and insured
You may go from pits to the grandstands

How it works:

2 Laps with transponder (speedway-provided) for timing
5 fastest cars will race 2 additional laps
Fastest lap time receives trophy and prize
