Good things come in small packages. The Northeast Classic Lites make their first visit to the Thrasher Rd. speed plant since 2014, and they rip around the 1/3 oval with 4-cylinder 600cc GSXR motorcycle engines. These Dwarf Cars are 5/8 scale models of vintage cars from 1928-48. They are expected to have 16-20 cars in attendance which should make for a great event.
The Casella Modifieds were light on cars but Brian Robie picked up his first career Tour-Type Modified feature win by leading all 30 laps. Dana Smith continued his strong season by finishing 2nd while Scott MacMichael was 3rd.
R.E. Hinkley Super Streeter “Radical” Ricky Bly grabbed his first win of the season in convincing fashion outrunning Ben Poland and Hayden Scott to the line. Bly led the last 27 laps.
The “Polish” Prince Tyler Janovsky reigned supreme in the Pepsi Limited Sportsman conquering the field for his 2nd win of the year. Chris Colburn was the runner-up with Kenny Thompson finishing 3rd.
Kodi Sabins won the inaugural Cody LaFont Memorial Twin 25’s besting Zach Lyn and Matt Gauffin. Sabins won both segment races.
