HUGE FIREWORKS, GRAY WINS 100th FRIDAY AT CLAREMONT

CLAREMONT, NH - With a huge crowd on hand for the night’s racing and the huge Noise R Us Fireworks show, Sper Street star Brandon Gray put on an electric sho of his own friday at Claremont motorsports Park.
The 28-year-old East Thetford, VT hot shoe won the night’s RE Hinkley Fuels Super Street main event to notch his 100th career victory. Other winners on the night included 604 Modified ace Brian Robie, who added to his victory resume, and Cam Curtis, who dominated in the outlaw Late Model feature.
Colton Hull won a thriller in the R Building Supply Pure Stocks, and Kyle Templeton stayed undefeated on the sssssummer, winning in the Mini Stocks for the fifth time this year.
Aiden White and Tim Churchill led the Super Streets to the green, with Curchill - an earlier heat winner - pouncing on the opening lead.Gray, with the taste of win number 100 in his mouth, inched ahead on lap four and quickly drove away.
Slowed by only one caution, Gray made his historic victory look easy. Behind him, though, there was great racing aplenty going on.Churchill held strong until the final circuit, when hot shoe Cody Schoolcraft stole second with a huge burst out of turn four. Behind Churchill, Robert Hagar and White rounded out the top five.
In the Asetex Tire and Auto 604 modified feature, Robie took charge o n lap four and never looked back en route to victory.
Hometown speedster Jeremy Zullo followed Robie to the front early and held rock solid the rest of the way to finish an impressive second, with super soph Colton Martin strong in third
Steve Bly dominated the first 21 laps of the Outlaw Late Model main event, but when he fell off pace during a lap 22 caution, Cam Curtis took over
Once in front, Curtis held strong, beating Bobby Melvin Jr. to the checkers by a single length, with Robbie Streeter impressing with a strong third. Heavy hitters Ben Poland and Guy Caron finished farther back.
The Pure Stockers put on the best finish of the best finish of the night Friday, Kyle Kenny took the lead from Nathan Waterman on lap three and looked ready to disappear and celebrate. Colton Hull had other plans though.
With Kenny headed off into another time zone, Hull got up for third on lap ten, second four laps later, and the chase was on.
Taking charge on lap 23, Hull held strong to win his third event of the summer. Kenny impressed in second, and Andrea St Amour was a solid third in her second run of the summer
Kyle Templeton took command on lap five of the Mini Stock feature and simply blasted off to stay undefeated in 2025. A lap-18 surge brought Dick LaMotte to second, and Tim Paquette cme home third.
Seth Drown had taken the lap one lead in the JP’s Trucking Ridge Runners when a sudden shower swept in, halting the nightcap event. It will be made up at a future date.
There will be no racing next Friday, July 4, at CPM, with historic Thrasher Road oval returning the action on Friday, July 11, with the Mcgee Automotive group 125 featuring the Granite State Pro Stock Series s atop a full card of racing.

PURE STOCK: Colton Hull, Kyle Kenny, Andrea ST. Amour, Jimmy Zellmen, Carter Conroy.
