EIGHT CROWNED AS CLAREMONT CELEBRATES 2025 RACING SEASON
CLAREMONT, N.H. - Claremont Motorsports Park celebrated its 78th consecutive season of oval track racing Saturday, crowning no fewer than eight different divisional champions at its 2025 Celebration of Champions awards banquet.
With a packed house on hand at West Lebanon's Fireside Inn for the annual honoring, of the best of the best in regional stock car racing, the top ten drivers and teams of last summer’s successful season were feted, and speedway promoter Mike Parks, back at the helm in 2026, previewed a huge summer schedule for the upcoming season.
Asetex Tire and Auto Modified ace Brian Robie celebrated another championship season in the outgoing open-wheeled division, blasting to eight wins in nine events at the Thrasher Road speedplant to win the title going away. It was another huge summer for the Sunapee speedster. Along with his newest CMP crown, Robie also was champion at Monadnock Speedway and won the New Hampshire state NASCAR Modified championship.
Former track champ Tyler Leary finished second to Robie in the 2025 points race, with exciting Modified racer Andrew Brousseau third.
In the Outlaw Late Models, Baltimore, VT young gun Cam Curtis won his first-ever CMP title, powering to two 2025 feature wins en route to the Outlaw championship/ Former two-time CMP champ Ben Poland was second, and veteran hot shoe Steve Bly was third

Aaron Fellows won a nail biter in the Tour Type Late Models, earning his 17th - or is it 18th - CMP divisional championship with a three-win season to edge Stephen Donahue for the 2025 crown. Steady Craig Smith was third on the season.
Red hot Brandon Gray, who passed the 100-win career mark racing at numerous tracks for the Streeter Racing team in the 2025 season won his first career CMP title, topping the RE Hinkley Fuels Super Streets last summer over Cody Schoolcraft in a points race that went into the final event of the season. Joe Tetreault was third on the summer.
Mini Stock ace Kyle Templeton had a dominant season, rocketing to ten wins and 12 top fives en route to his second CMP Mini Stock and third overall track championship at CMP/ Sean Lantas was second on the summer, and Dick LaMotte finished third in points,
Colton Hull won his first career CMP championship, topping the 2025 LaValley Building Supply Pure Stocks in a thrilerl that went down to the season’s final laps to edge Kyle Kenny for the title behind his three-win, 17 top-five campaign. Steady Bay State hot shoe Jimmy Zellman was third.
Six Shooter ace Steve Miller won his third championship, edging, who else, son Steve Miller Jr. for the 2025 crown. Raven Streeter was third on the summer,
Carlos Grenier was top dog in the 2025 JP’s Trucking Ridge Runners division, blasting to eleven feature wins and no fewer than a dozen top threes en route to dominating the field as he stormed to his first career track title and, along the way, also earning the 2025 Ridge Runner Rookie of The Year honors at Saturday’s awards banquet. Trevyr Young was second in 2025 Ridge Runner points, and Bryanna Buck was third.
Honored Saturday as the 2025 CMP Rookies of The Year were Aaron Fellows Jr., ; Tour Type Late Model; Marc Laroche Jr., Outlaw; Andrew Brousseau, Modified; Aiden White, Super Street, Lane Lantas, Mini Stock, Tyler Leary, Pure Stock; Michael Casey, Six Shooter; and Carlos Grenier, Ridge Runner.
Addressing the packed house at Saturday’s awards banquet, speedway promoter Mike Parks rolled out an ambitious upcoming season, including numerous 2026 visits by the thundering NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Granite State Pro Stock Series, the exciting SMAC Super Modifieds,as well as the Modified Racing Series and a full schedule of NASCAR Weekly Racing Series action.
CMP will host it sixth annual St. Valentine’s Day Massacre Valentines Day Massacre Enduro event on Saturday, February 28, and then begin its huge Weekly Racing Series season with the annual Spring Fling on April 18 and 19.
