Claremont Motorsports Park to Rejoin NASCAR Local Weekly Racing Series presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts in 2026

Daytona Beach, Fla. — It was announced today that Claremont Motorsports Park will officially return to the NASCAR fold beginning with the 2026 racing season.
Speedway officials confirmed that Claremont Motorsports Park will operate under the NASCAR Local Weekly Racing Series presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts for the 2026 season, marking a significant milestone for the historic short track.
Track management cited NASCAR’s long-standing leadership in grassroots racing as a key factor in the decision.
“We feel NASCAR is the premier sanctioning body for short track racing across the United States,” said speedway management. “The benefits NASCAR provides to tracks, competitors, and fans are unmatched, and we believe this partnership positions Claremont Motorsports Park for long-term success.”
The following divisions will compete under the NASCAR sanctioning program at Claremont Motorsports Park during the 2026 season:
• Division 2: Super Streets
• Division 3: Mini Stocks
• Division 4: Ridge Runners
• Division 5: Six Shooters
The return to NASCAR sanctioning is expected to enhance competition, increase regional visibility, and provide drivers with access to NASCAR’s national point system, licensing, and developmental opportunities.
