Ridge Runners Set to Return for Full 2026 Season at Claremont Motorsports Park
Claremont, NH — Claremont Motorsports Park and MDP Motorsports Promotions are excited to announce that the Ridge Runners will return in 2026 for a full season of competition.
This popular, entry-level division features rear-wheel drive, hobby stock–type race cars—the Monte Carlos, Camaros, and similar models that so many fans grew up watching at short tracks across New England. Whether you call them Hobby Stocks, Ridge Runners, or Slingshots, these cars bring back the classic feel of grassroots stock car racing.
After running a limited schedule in 2025 as the division continued to grow, the Ridge Runners will take on a full slate of events in 2026. There has already been tremendous interest from drivers, with several new cars currently being built in preparation for the upcoming season.
The 2026 season will kick off April 18th and 19th with the Claremont Motorsports Park Opening Weekend. Fans can expect side-by-side action and plenty of excitement as this crowd-favorite division returns in full force.
